“Eqrem Çabej” University in Gjirokastra (UOGJ) has provided opportunities for UIBM to participate in every international project they apply for. This commitment was given by the rector of UOGJ, prof. dr. Bektash Mema, during the reception of a delegation from UIBM, consisting of the rector, prof. dr. Alush Musaj, vice rector, prof.dr. Behxhet Shala and the Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology, prof.dr. Milaim Sadiku.
Rector Mema emphasized that UOGJ has created a good experience in terms of international projects, which have created great opportunities for both students and academic staff. “Although our universities are at both ends of the Albanian lands, in the south and north, the opportunities for cooperation with mutual benefits are numerous,” he said.
Rector of UIBM, prof. dr. Musaj, thanked his counterpart and the entire UOGJ team for hosting and providing cooperation in various fields. In this context, he mentioned the mutual support for the opening of programs that can be considered attractive for one or the other university.
Days ago, during a visit of a UOGJ delegation to UIBM, a cooperation agreement was signed between these two institutions of higher education. It specifies the areas and rules of cooperation of interest to both parties.
