The University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB) will be able to obtain concessional loan support from the European Investment Bank for various infrastructure projects. This was discussed in detail at a meeting between the leaders of UMIB and representatives of the Division for International Financial Cooperation within the Ministry of Finance.

The Vice-Rector for Budget and Finance at UMIB, Ajtene Avdullahi, said this is a very good opportunity given the university space and the campus under construction. She thanked representatives of the Ministry of Finance for support and stressed that UMIB’s infrastructure needs remain to be identified.

In this context, UMIB will plan infrastructure projects for the period 2025-2030.
