Mitrovica Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IECM) was established on 04.03.2019 as a result of a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB) and the Ministry of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIN). With the operationalization of the IECM executive board on 04.07.2019, its management bodies were selected and IECM started here on the basis of the joint plan of UMIB with MIN.
Purpose:
Dedicated to serving students in developing innovative concepts, preparing staff for market needs, as a business incubator to equip modern laboratories for shared use, and for young people interested in generating new ideas and for the successful exploitation of these ideas.
Scope:
IECM is a space dedicated to UMIB students, innovative enterprises in the process of pre-incubation and incubation and for young people interested in vocational training in the field of innovation.
IECM is also available for other individuals who can use that time in their research with various innovative ideas.
