The representative of WUS Austria Mr.Aqim Emurli visited today the University Isa Boletini of Mitrovica and had very fruitful discussion with the Dean of the Faculty of Geosciences Prof Dr Naser Peci, Prof Dr.Sabri Avdullahi – Vice Dean for Quality and International Cooperation, Prof Ass.Dr.Gzim Ibishi – Director of the Institute FG, Assistent MSc.Argjend Hajra.

The topic of the visit was to discuss the I) the need of updating the existing (undergraduate) study programmes with project Integrated Water Resources Management in Kosova – IWRM-K related courses/subjects as well as II) the need for functionalization of the institute that works under the given faculty.

The take-aways from the meeting will help WUS Austria to prepare a baseline study that will be used for potential future interventions from the IWRM-K project.
