The Governing Council of University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica has decided to establish the Institute of the Faculty of Food Technology. The decision was taken after the proposal from FTU, with the rationale for the importance of establishing such an institute.

The Institute of FTU, in addition to creating greater opportunities for students and teachers, is estimated to be a bridge of cooperation between the academic part and the industry. Such institutes have also been established in other academic units at UIBM.
