Professor of the Faculty of Economics – UIBM, Prof.Ass.Dr. Filloreta Kunoviku Demiri held a joint lecture with Prof.Dr. John McArdle from Bertolon School of Business – Salem State University, USA, in Risk and Insurance Management.

During the teaching process, the professors, through the lecture and the analysis of concrete case studies, encouraged many discussions among the students with a special focus on the continuous improvement of the students’ ability for critical thinking and decision making related to risk management and insurance.

Students were quite satisfied and active during the learning process showing excellent analytical skills.

The two professors agreed that during the stay of the professor, they will continue their cooperation by continuously engaging the students with numerous tasks and activities for this subject.

Prof. John McArdle will stay at FE during the whole month of May where FE staff and students will have the opportunity to share their experiences about scientific research, revisions of study programs, numerous opportunities for collaboration with the university where the professor comes from. His visit to FE has been welcomed considering the fact that last year Professor John also stayed for a month in FE as an expert for the review of programs through the Fulbright program.
