UIBM continues to hold second place among public universities in Kosovo in the webometrix ranking. In the latest update published by Webometrics (Spanish National Research Council), among 29,000 universities from around the globe, UIBM is ranked 12,573.

Compared to the same period a year ago, UIBM has risen by 589 places, while since the last update in July 2022 it has risen by 336 places. This has been welcomed by UIBM leaders, who say that the institution is now consolidated and fully focused on quality improvement.

Rector, prof. dr. Alush Musaj emphasized that in all measurements related to public universities in the country, UIBM is doing extremely well. “This is the merit of the extraordinary work that is being done in all the structures of this academic institution”, he said.
