Application for “Debate for Tolerance”
Debate for Tolerance is a project implemented by Debate Center and aims to establish the first formal debate clubs at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, University of Peja “Haxhi Zeka”, University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” and IBC-M – International Business College Mitrovica.
Throughout 8 months, students will have the opportunity to develop critical thinking, public speaking skills, group communication and collaboration, active listening as well as competing with each other through argumentation, rhetoric, advanced communication skills. Exchange visits, international trainers and participation in international debate tournaments are among the main activities of this project.
This project aims to include up to 100 students, who at the end of the project will compete in the “First University Debate Championship” in Kosovo.
The 4 finalist teams (8 students in total) will be supported to participate in the European University Debate Championship to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan in August 2020.
If you are a student from University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, University of Peja “Haxhi Zeka”, University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” and IBC-M – International Business College Mitrovica, you are eligible to apply!
